The two-day conference, with a theme of "general election law," was attended by delegates from 26 countries and two international organisations.
The Head of Indonesian Constitutional Court, Mahfud MD, said that the delegates had agreed to the establishment of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and equivalent institutions in the region.
"It is as parts of efforts to boost the quality of the courts and equivalent institution in Asia ," he said in his speech at the opening of the conference.
The association would strengthen communication between members, he said./.
