The FUYO Foundation is an annual scholarship fund for Vietnamese students with outstanding academic performance.
Since its establishment in 1997, the foundation has awarded a total of 292,000 USD in scholarships to 1,190 students nationwide.
In the past few years, the Japanese government has made significant contributions to education in Vietnam through creating opportunities for Vietnamese students to pursue master degrees, PhDs and apprentices in the social sciences, natural science, engineering and economics.-VNA
