On the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival 2020, Hanoi Old Quarter Management Board organizes many fun activities for Mid-Autumn Festival at cultural sites in the Old Quarter (Hoan Kiem district).

The highlight of this year's activities will take place at the Hanoi Old Quarter Culture Exchange Center (50 Dao Duy Tu). Here, the Hanoi Old Quarter Management Board will coordinate with artisans and craftsmen to introduce ways to make traditional toys such as the star-shaped lantern, the doctor, the stickman, the paper mache mask, “phỗng đất” statue, paper kites...

Along with the introduction of toys and games, the Management Board together with artists makes presentations about the meanings of toys and games, thereby contributing to educating and nurturing the young souls.

At the same time, the Hanoi Old Quarter Management Board also introduces a Hanoi's family house when welcoming the Mid-Autumn Festival at the Heritage House at 87 Ma May; the decorations and arrangement space in the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival at Kim Ngan Communal house (at 42-44 Hang Bac) and at the Heritage Information Center (28 Hang Buom).

To preserve and promote traditional cultural values, the 2020 Mid-Autumn Festival cultural activities will give children a salutary playing space and opportunity to learn about traditional cultural values./.
