During an interview withthe Dau Tu (Investment) newspaper, Nguyen Hai Nam , President ofABVietFrance said that three projects are likely to be carried out thisyear, of which one will be in Vietnam and the other two will help topromote trade with the French market.
Under thefirst project, trade and economics courses at universities, with thesupport of the French government and businesses will give Vietnameseundergraduates and graduates the chance to stay and study in France .
The second project aims to promote one leadingVietnamese brand to France every year. This year, ABVietFrance andthe Union of Vietnamese Students in France will hold a tea and coffeesales promotion, the most consumed beverages, and an essential currencyearner for Vietnam at the 2011 Paris Trade Fair.
The third project named “ Vietnam Village ”, aims to attract capitalfrom domestic sources. In the first phase, it will build a Vietnameseculinary village with the chefs and catering staff all Vietnamese.
First established in France in September 2010, ABVietFrance has 120members, both businesses and individuals, who would like to invest inVietnam .
Almost all Vietnamese businessesoperating in France are in the services, information technology,finance and retail sectors./.
