Activities responding to action month for environment launched
The Ministry of Nature Resources and Environment has urged relevant agencies to arrange activities in the “Action Month for Environment”, in response to the World Environment Day (June 5).

Hanoi (VNA) – The Ministry of Nature Resources and Environment has urged relevant agencies to arrange activities in the “Action Month for Environment”, in response to the World Environment Day (June 5).
Under the theme “'Time for Nature”, the agencies are also requested to bolster funding and mobilisation of social sources for nature and biodiversity conservation.
They need to keep a closer watch on waste collection, transport and treatment and address waste-induced environmental pollution which directly hampers people’s livelihood, said the ministry, adding that the building of environmentally-friendly constructions for the sake of the public is encouraged./.
