– Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh expressed his belief that Vietnam will become one of the top 30 countries worldwide in terms of tourism competitiveness, while chairing an national teleconference on tourism on March 15.

– A dialogue between the Prime Minister and youths will be held in both online and in-person formats on March 26 on the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

- The 15th National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee convened its 21st session in Hanoi on March 15 under the chair of NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.

– Vietnam - Australia cooperation relations in the past five years have grown strongly with the flexible implementation of bilateral cooperation mechanisms, and possibly see more opportunities in the coming time, said Professor Carl Thayer from the Australian Defence Force Academy, the University of New South Wales.
Speaking to the Vietnam News Agency about the action programme to implement the Vietnam- Australia Strategic Partnership for the period of 2020-2023 when the two countries celebrate the 5th anniversary of their strategic partnership (March 15, 2018- March 15, 2023), the professor highlighted that the strategic partnership focuses on three pillars - strengthening economic-trade linkages; deepen strategic-defense-security cooperation; and building knowledge and innovation partnerships.Read full text

– The pair of Mong Cai (Vietnam) – Dongxing (China) International Border Gates officially resumed customs clearance procedures for international tourists on March 15.
The first foreign tourists entering Vietnam through the border gate in the northern province of Quang Ninh on the day were a group of 38 Chinese tourists. – The Cuc Phuong National Park in the northern province of Ninh Binh said on March 15 that it has received and rescued many rare and endangered animals from localities nationwide.
