Da Nang (VNA) - Aikido, a defensive martial art from Japan, has been included as part of physical training at the Dong A College in the central city of Da Nang for 2016-17.

Chairman of the private Dong A College, Nguyen Thi Anh Dao, said it’s the first college in the central and central highlands provinces to include the martial art in the curriculum along with karate, taekwondo, football and volleyball.

Japanese masters will start training students later this year.
