All ready for Da Nang int’l fireworks competition

Preparations for the third Da Nang international fireworks competition have nearly been completed, ready for the opening day on March 27.

The two-dayevent, themed “The Legend of Han River”, was selected to be one of theseven major events nationwide this year which will be held to preparefor the 1,000 th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi. It will alsocelebrate the 35 th anniversary of the central city of Da Nang ’sliberation day.

Five participating teams from the US , Japan , France , Portugal andhost Da Nang-Vietnam, are also ready for the competition.

Portugal’s Glupo Luso Pirotecnia team will bring to the festival a20-minute performance entitled “Dragon and Fire – A place where legendwas fold” while the Tamaya Kitahara team from Japan will provide theaudience with a 24:30 minute performance on the base of music and thesparkling lights of fireworks are expected to embellish the night skyon Han River.

The host Da Nang-Vietnam team’s performance will include five parts,namely “Place Where Dragon Gives Birth”, “the Youthful Han River”, “HanRiver – the Sorrows of War”, “Han River with Rising Waves”, and “ HanRiver – Love and Aspiration”.

The US-based Pyrotecnico team, with its 75 years of experience, willdevote a powerful performance lasting 24 minutes and eight secondsaccompanied by Rock ‘n’ Roll love songs.

The Jacques Couturier Organisation team from France will tell theaudience about the Legend of Au Co and Lac Long Quan in its 20:30minute performance./.

By 2030, the project targets the establishment of shared digital platforms across 100% of cultural sectors.
