Almost 9.6 billion VND was raised for the disabled and orphans in the 8 th “One Heart, One World” charity programme that was held in Hanoi on April 9.
Almost 9.6 billion VND was raised for the disabled and orphans in the 8 th “One Heart, One World” charity programme that was held in Hanoi on April 9.

The event, which was televised live on VTV1 was jointly organised by the Vietnam Association in Support of Disabled People and Orphans, the Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the Vietnam Television.

The “One Heart, One World” programme is an annual event with the aim of calling for donations from the community to assist disabled people and orphans in rural and remote areas.

During the programme, participants had the opportunity to meet outstanding disadvantaged people, who have overcome difficulties to integrate well into the community.

In the previous event, the Vietnam Association in Support of Disabled People and Orphans received more than 117 billion VND from the domestic and foreign organisations, individuals and businesses./.
