He said this was his first visit to a private Vietnamese corporation as the RoK Ambassador to Vietnam, which was very significant to promote the cooperation between FLC and RoK partners. contributing to boosting economic ties between the two countries.

Thanking FLC for facilitating the quarantine process of thousands of Korean experts entering Vietnam for work, the ambassador said that this will help promote FLC's image to many Korean enterprises.

According to Park, many strategic areas that FLC is investing in such as resort real estate, aviation and entertainment are also areas of potential and strength of the RoK. Therefore, FLC should promote cooperation with Korean partners in these fields.

Currently, there are more than 9,000 RoK enterprises investing in Vietnam, many of which have great economic potential.

In the coming time, if there are any projects that FLC Group wishes to implement with the RoK side, the embassy is ready to act as a bridge to promote them, he pledged.

"We hope FLC Group will operate more effectively to contribute to the Vietnamese economy in general and the Vietnam-RoK economic cooperation in particular," said Park.

Expressing his honour to welcome the RoK delegation, FLC Chairman Trinh Van Quyet said that the RoK is one of the key markets of the group in Asia.

The RoK is where FLC held an international roadshow in 2017, attracting the attention of hundreds of businesses, investors and partners, paving the way for many important trade cooperation agreements with the RoK business community, including a real estate cooperation project between FLC and Lotte which is underway in Hanoi.

Regarding tourism, every year, FLC's system of resort complexes and golf courses welcome tens of thousands of RoK tourists and golfers.

Reviewing some imprints, Quyet commented that the cooperation in real estate and tourism between FLC and Korean partners is very effective. He said he expects this partnership to reap even greater outcomes in the future, with the RoK Embassy as a bridge.

FLC's projects currently spread across all the three regions of Vietnam. In particular, in the central region alone, the group has put into operation many resort-golf complexes, contributing to giving a facelift to local socio-economic development. RoK businesses can cooperate with FLC in these projects, Quyet said.

Particularly in the aviation sector, earlier this year, Bamboo Airways operated the first international flight (in the form of charter flight) to Quy Nhon from Cheongju Airport, followed by some regular flights to the RoK from Da Nang and Nha Trang.

Bamboo Airways has worked closely with partners such as Hana Tour, the largest travel agency in the RoK at present, to tap into the rapidly growing tourist communities in the two countries.

As part of the Government's policy on reopening air routes to countries showing good control of COVID-19, the airline is expected to operate a regular route linking Hanoi and Incheon (the RoK) from October 2020.

It is preparing to launch more regular routes from Quy Nhon, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, as well as charter flights from Thanh Hoa, Binh Dinh nd Quang Binh to the RoK, bring Korean tourists to localities where FLC projects are based and vice versa, when the situation becomes stable.

With the advantage of owning a system of 5-star international standard resort complexes, FLC is also ready to offer venues for Korean businesses to organize seminars, conferences and roadshows, in order to support and promote trade cooperation of RoK enterprises in Vietnam./.
