American jazz diva Diane Witherspoon will be performing from now until the end of July at LeClub of the Metropole Hotel in Hanoi, according to Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) website.

Witherspoon has loved music since she was a child and sang in the church choir in her hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She later studied singing at the Saint Olaf College and piano and music theory in California.

She led a choir in Camp Cazedero, California, and taught music at the Charnock School in Los Angeles.
Diane has performed with many different groups and sung with famous names such as Calvin Keyes, John Handy, Rasul Siddik & The NOW Artet bands.

She has also performed live and recorded with Bobby McFerrin, Cedar Walton, and Roy McCurdy, and other famous singers around the world.

On June 21, she will give a special one night show with Vietnamese singer Le Cat Trong Ly.-VNA
