Analytica Vietnam 2017 exhibition opens in Hanoi

The fifth International Trade Fair for Laboratory Technology, Analysis, Biotechnology and Diagnostics (Analytica Vietnam 2017) kicked off in Hanoi on March 29.

Hanoi (VNA) - The fifth InternationalTrade Fair for Laboratory Technology, Analysis, Biotechnology and Diagnostics(Analytica Vietnam 2017) kicked off in Hanoi on March 29.

The event was jointly organised by the NationalAgency for Science and Technology Information (NASATI) under the Ministry ofScience and Technology and Germany’s IMAG fairs organisation.

Deputy Minister of Science and Technology TranViet Thanh said the exhibition allows scientific and technologicalorganizations, businesses and hospitals, as well as analysis, testing anddiagnose service facilities to gain access to the latest global technologiesand equipment, while expanding cooperation, reforming technologies, anddeveloping business production.

Analytica is one of the activities to promotethe development of the hi-tech market and help local organizations andindividuals directly access foreign suppliers of modern equipment to avoidrisks in commercial transactions and technology transfer.
Director of German MesseMunchen Group Susanne Groedl said Analytica Vietnam 2017 sees strong growth inboth quality and quantity of participating stands, which indicates the localdevelopment potential in this field.
All participating countriespin hope in the development of Vietnam in the future, she added.
Thematic workshops onenvironmental analysis were held after the opening ceremony.
Analytica Vietnam 2017 draws 120 companies from 17 countries and territories,including Germany, France, the UK, Japan, the US, Italy, the Republic of Korea,and Singapore.

A new point of Analytica Vietnam 2017 is theestablishment of a multinational pavilion of Germany, China and Singapore.

The fair introduces equipment and services inthe fields of technology analysis, measurement, examination and managementtechnologies, lab and bio-technology.-VNA

The event was assessed as having a level-0 disaster risk.
