On March 12, Angolan Minister of Former Combatants and Motherland Veterans Kundi Paihama held a friendly meeting with Vietnamese Ambassador to Angola Do Ba Khoa in Luanda to discuss how to boost cooperation in various sectors.

The minister expressed his admiration for the Vietnamese Party and people’s achievements in the resistance war for national independence and construction.

Through his visit to Vietnam in 1987 and his observation of Vietnamese specialists in Angola, Paihama appreciated the industrious and creative Vietnamese labourers of the past and the present.

In terms of cooperation, the Angolan minister said he hoped that the two sides would share their experiences in national construction and development, veterans’ activities, and the teaching of patriotism and responsibility to the younger generations.

He also expected that the two countries’ war veterans would enhance business cooperation in Angola.-VNA
