Vietnam's companies have exported animal feed and raw materials to more than 10 markets, mostly in Asia.
TheUS was the only market outside Asia that imported Vietnam's animal feedand raw materials. The US imported 756,000 USD of Vietnam's animal feedand raw materials.
A large quantity of the exported animal feedand raw materials are being temporarily imported for re-export, PhamDuc Binh, Deputy Chairman of the Vietnam Animal Feed Association, wasquoted as saying in the Nong Nghiep Viet Nam (Vietnam Agriculture)newspaper.
Many companies have imported raw materials like soybeans and then re-exported them to other countries, he explained.
However, animal feed and raw materials produced in Vietnam accounted for a significant amount of these exports, he said.
Accordingto Vietnam's animal feed producers, Cambodia is the export market withthe most potential for made-in-Vietnam animal feed and raw materials.
