A collection of 120 samples of Ao dai (Vietnam traditional long dress) will be introduced during the Vietnam Culture Month in Lorient city, France from May 5-27.

The information was released at a press briefing on the Fall-Winter Fashion Week in Hanoi on April 18.

The special collection is designed by three Vietnamese famous designers – Trong Nguyen, Viet Lien and Minh Hanh. Trong Nguyen drew inspiration from the phoenix, while Viet Lien’s designs used strong and contrast colours with traditional embroideries. Veteran designer Minh Hanh selected traditional and luxurious materials adorned by handcrafted details./.
