Working Group (MDPWG) of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations
(ASEAN) and Related Meetings from Oct.10-14 in Hanoi.
The MDPWG meeting and related meetings aims to discuss and reach a consensus in deploying the integration roadmap in the field.
It also provides an occasion for managers, manufacturers and suppliers of healthcare devices to learn about commitments and relevant issues in the integration process as well as seek cooperative opportunities in this field.
The series of meetings started with the third Private-public forum themed “Managing and ensuring quality of medical device” on Oct. 10, which focused on contents such as certificate systems relating to medical device; regulations on product certification and quality management system; risk management of medical device.
Following the forum, the MDPWG technical group will meet on Oct. 12 and the MDPWG’s 14 th meeting is to take place on Oct. 13.
The MDPWG is one of 12 working groups of the ASEAN Consultative Committee on Standards and Quality (ACCSQ). It is responsible for harmonizing regulations on medical device./.
