The two leaders also exchanged opinions about regional issues including ASEAN development and needs.
The Dutch minister, who is on a visit to Indonesia, affirmed his government’s strong commitment to enhancing the bilateral cooperation with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, particularly in the fields of education, human rights, investment and science and technology.
In response, Le Luong Minh appreciated the Netherlands’ assistance to the ASEAN Secretariat in improving its working capacity and efficiency. He expressed his hope for closer ASEAN - the Netherlands and ASEAN - EU ties.-VNA
