Hanoi (VNA) - New Zealand’s two-way trade with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) was 15.2 billion NZD (10.9 billion USD) in the year ended in June 2017, according to the statistics department Stats NZ.
Goods and services exported to ASEAN countries totalled 6.3 billion NZD, and imports were 8.9 billion NZD, Stats NZ said.
Dairy products, including milk powder and cheese, were the main goods exported from New Zealand to ASEAN, followed by meat, logs, fruit, and wood pulp and waste paper.
Petroleum and related products was New Zealand’s largest goods import from ASEAN in the year with most of these petroleum imports coming from Singapore, the department said. -VNA
