An online resource centre has been launched in Vietnamese and English to provide information on the progress of community-based projects.
Thirty agencies and organisations from 20 countries are contributing to the website.
Major topics of interest are education and development, child health, domestic violence, hunger eradication, poverty reduction, HIV/AIDS, traffic congestion and global warming.
The website will also act as a forum for discussion.
Among those participating in the project will be experts from Vietnam , Singapore , Thailand , Malaysia and Indonesia , as well as representatives from New York Festivals and Adfest.
One project, of particular relevance to Vietnam , will be information about best agricultural practices in basa fish and shrimp farming available at www.gap.org.vn (Global GAP).
