Host Vietnam will play Iran while Kuwait is set against Australia. The two strong teams of Thailand and Japan are poised for a clash while Uzbekistan will meet Lebanon.
On May 5, Lebanon achieved a surprising 3-3 draw with Thailand to win the second place in group C and together with Thailand advanced to the quarterfinals.
In group D, Japan beat Kyrgyzstan 4-0 to earn its place in the quarterfinals while Uzbekistan advanced after overcoming the Republic of Korea 3-0.
Quarterfinal games will take place on May 7 in Ho Chi Minh City.-VNA
