– As many as 73 riders from 25 countries and territories worldwide gathered in southern Ninh Thuan province’s Ninh Chu Bay on February 25 to participate the Kiteboard Tour Asia’s X-champs 2016.

The professional series is scheduled to run its first leg in Vietnam from February 25-28, before moving to Pranburi, Thailand (March 15-20) and Hainan, China (April 6-10).

This year, X-champs riders will compete in twin-tip, freestyle and stand-up-paddle-board racing.

According to Le Van Binh, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, the event is a good chance to strengthen international exchanges, develop various types of marine sports in Ninh Thuan, and promote the beauty of local land and people.-VNA
