The Vietnam Red Cross office in the northern province of Nam Dinh and the Rotary Club of Mosman (RCM) in Sydney , Australia on May 16 presented 40 wheelchairs to Agent Orange (AO) victims and people with disabilities in 10 districts in the province.

This is an annual activity of RCM, and part of a project named “Wheelchairs for disabled people” in Vietnam .

Since 2007, the Australian Embassy in Vietnam in cooperation with RCM has donated 110 wheelchairs to AO victims and disabled people in Nam Dinh province, who meet with many difficulties in their lives.

Rotary International is a worldwide charitable organisation that pioneers humanitarian and development projects, such as projects to supply clean water to poor people in remote areas and support in building schools, houses and centres to care for disabled children.-VNA
