Speaker of the Australian House of Representatives Bronwyn Bishop left Hanoi on September 14, wrapping up her official visit to Vietnam from September 12-14.

During her stay, the Speaker held talks with National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung and paid a courtesy visit to Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

The Vietnamese leaders said they were looking forward to stronger economic and trade cooperation with Australia.

Both sides agreed to continue stepping up multi-dimensional partnership, in particular in investment, trade, defence, security and education, conforming respective country’s conditions.-VNA
