Almost 1,000 people with eye diseases will receive free check-ups and treatment under a programme conducted by Australia’s Vietnam Vision organisation in Nha Trang, the seaside city of central Khanh Hoa province, from July 23-25.

Doctors from Vietnam Vision will provide eye tests and carry out surgery on over 300 patients with cataracts. They will also offer dental examinations to 600 other people in the locality.

Established in 2002, Vietnam Vision has given free health checks and treatment to more than 5,000 people in Vietnam.-VNA
