Australian Red Cross funds Lao province’s health service

The Australian Red Cross has provided 655,000 USD to support the community health improvement project in Borikhamsay province, Laos.
The Australian Red Cross has provided 655,000 USD to support the community health improvement project in Borikhamsay province, Laos.

An agreement on the grant support was signed on March 19 at the Borikhamsay Provincial Administration Office, according to KPL.

The project aims to improve health care service in disadvantaged communities in the districts of Viengthong and Khamkeuth in the province.

The benefited include Phonsa-at, Napavane, Nakadok, Samteuy, and Nameuang villages in Viengthong district, and Nangoy, Phabor, Natho, Namtad (Kokton), Phonmeuang and Phiengton villages in Khamketh district.-VNA
