The average salary for a labourer in foreign-invested businesses registered the highest increase of all, up 7.8 percent to 2.6 million VND (140 USD) a month.
It was followed by the average salary in the private sector, which increased by 5 percent to 2.3 million VND and in the State-owned sector, which rose rise 1.2 percent to 3.2 million VND.
The ministry said in 2010, it will to increase average minimum salary at domestic enterprises by 15 percent and at FDI businesses by 10 percent./.
