the semi-finals of the Yonex Chinese Taipei Open in New Taipei City on
September 6.

Minh, world No 5, defeated unseeded Khosit Phetpradab of Thailand 21-9, 21-10 in the men's singles event in half of hour.
In the semis, he will play No 5 Jen Hao Hsu of the host.
On the women's side, Vu Thi Trang of Vietnam was eliminated after losing 18-21, 21-17, 16-21 to Juan Gu of Indonesia in the quarter-final round.
Trang, the Youth Olympics bronze medallist, last year was sent home after the first round.-VNA
