Twenty-one Vietnamese logistics officials on March 23 completed a Master of Arts (MA) course in Logistics and Transport jointly conducted by the Belgian Liege University and Da Nang University.

The course, which is part of a post-graduate training programme between the two universities signed in 2008, is the first of its kind in Da Nang.

Vice Director of Da Nang University Le Tan Duy said Liege University, Europe’s leader in logistics training, will gradually transfer skills to Da Nang University.

“The cooperative programme not only helps boost Vietnam's socio-economic development, but also helps Da Nang University develop logistics training,” he said.

The second course opened in the same day and will last until 2012 with 25 trainees./.
