The second French Language World Forum will be held in the Belgium city of Liege from July 20-23, 2015, heard a press conference in Paris on March 25.

The forum will continue to pay attention to prioritised fields declared at the first forum – economics-training, linguistic diversity, cultural references and digital world, aiming to utilise youth’s central role in advancing initiatives and creating economic dynamism through the global use of French language.

Secretary General of the International Francophone Organisation (OIF) Abdou Diouf stressed that the forum will give youngsters in the French speaking community an opportunity to express their ideas.

The event also aims to foster solidarity and the sharing of the value of human beings as well as encourage the use of French language, he added.

The first forum in Canada in 2012 saw the participation of more than 1,000 representatives from 95 countries and territories around the world.-VNA
