The event, which will last until June 3, includes a wide range of events, from displays of flowers and decorative plants to a fruit contest and a farm produce and animal fair.

Workshops will also be held to discuss ways to promote the quality of Ben Tre fruit and improve the cooperation among managerial agencies, scientists, businesses and farmers in cultivating the fruit and selling the produce.

Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Anh Tuan said that the annual festival promotes the beauty of Ben Tre, which has strengths in producing fruits, seedlings and ornamental flowers. It will also help drive the local agricultural sector.
