The gong, 2.5m in diameter and 700 kg in weight, is now in the Dong Xanh (Green Field) Cultural Park in the Central Highlands province of Gia Lai , where the first International Gong Festival will be held this month.
The Vietnamese Guinness Record Centre will grant the record a certificate and cup to the gong’s owner, Duong Ngoc Truyen, on November 13./.
