Binh Dinh exports ocean tuna to Japan
Binh Dinh Fishery Joint Stock Company (Bidifisco) exported its first batch of ocean tuna to Japan by air on August 6.
Binh Dinh Fishery Joint Stock Company (Bidifisco) exported its first batch of ocean tuna to Japan by air on August 6.
According to the Bidifisco director Cao Thi Kim Loan, using Japanese advanced fishing technology helped fishing vessels catch ocean tuna meeting Japanese market standards.
Loan also said that tuna with average weight of 40-50kg each would be exported directly to Japan by air. Vietnam ’s tuna export price is between 8 USD and 9 USD per kilo.
Previously, Binh Dinh Fishery Joint Stock Company (Bidifisco) and Japanese Kato Hitoshi General Office Co Ltd (Kato Office) signed a contract to export ocean tuna to Japan.-VNA
