Binh Duong supports workers on Tet holidays

The southern province of Binh Duong will provide 500,000 VND each for 3,500 workers who cannot return home to enjoy the 2014 Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

Chairman of the provincial People’sCommittee Le Thanh Cung said on December 13 that the money was part of asum of 134 billion VND sourced from the local budget to supportdisadvantaged people in the province.

Due toproduction difficulty, it is forecast that a large number of workers inthe province will not be able to return home on the occasion of Tetholiday.-VNA

National, local traffic safety committees to be dissolved from June 1
