Speaking at the opening, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Tran Viet Thanh highlighted the role of biotechnology in agricultural production and medical treatment.
The fair, organised by the ministry’s National Agency for Science and Technology Information, aims to provide a platform for scientists in the biotechnology sector to present their research and help enterprises access advanced technologies, he added.
Right at the launching ceremony, two memoranda of understanding were signed between participants.-VNA
