Two consecutive bomb explosions injured three people and damaged a number of buildings in Indonesia ’s capital city Jakarta on August 4.
Police said the first bomb exploded at 9:10 am (local time) at the Ekayana Vihara Buddhist Centre in western Jakarta and the second blew up one and a half hours later at another place in the area.
They said they are investigating to find the perpetrators behind the bombings, adding that they suspect Islamic groups of carrying out the cases, which were similar to an unsuccessful attempt to bomb the Myanmar Embassy in Jakarta last May
