The Age Publishing House in coordination with the Vietnam Scientific Historical Association and Past and Present Magazine on January 11 introduced two books to welcome the 11th National Party Congress.

They are the “Memory of the First Independent Days 1945-1946” and “Ho Chi Minh – the person who brought light”.

The first book is a collection of over 200 photos on political events that took place in Hanoi and some northern localities from August 17, 1945 to June 18, 1946. It includes nearly 40 valuable photos of President Ho Chi Minh.

The second book consists of more than 400 pages with 61 essays praising President Ho’s life and his career. The documents were collected from many domestic and foreign historical witnesses who had worked with President Ho Chi Minh. The publication of the book reaffirms President Ho’s great contributions to the nation and is also a valuable gift to welcome the 11th National Party Congress./.
