A competition aimed at providing students with knowledge and skills on oral and dental hygiene was held in Ho Chi Minh City on April 6 in response to World Oral Health Day.

Co-organised by the municipal Department of Education and Training and Save the Children International Organisation, the competition drew the participation of 500 students and many teachers from the city.

It was part of a project on health and nutrition at school, which is being implemented in 10 difficult primary and secondary schools across five districts.

Students learnt how to look after their teeth and stay healthy.

With the slogan of “Learn to be healthy, be healthy to learn”, the school health and nutrition project aims to improve students’ learning capacity by providing them with knowledge and skills to care for their health.-VNA
