Hung Yen (VNA) – A new campus of the British University Vietnam (BUV) was inaugurated in Ecopark urban residential area in the northern province of Hung Yen, about 10 km east of Hanoi's centre, on September 15. 

The BUV Ecopark campus, spanning 6.5ha, had investment of 70 million USD. 

With seamless integration between in-door & out-door architecture to best for green living, the new campus is open and close to nature. Study rooms and library overlook endless expanses of green space with integrated state-of-the-art audio-visual systems to assist various learning and teaching methods.

Notably, the university zoned off an area of 1,000 square metres to its library, which is home to many books in English language, along with a sporting and entertainment complex.

General Director of the BUV Prof. Raymond Gordon said the opening of the BUV Ecopark campus reflects the university’s contributions and commitments to Vietnam’s education. It is viewed as an important foundation for the development of the BUV and thousands of Vietnamese and regional students in the time ahead, he added.

British University Vietnam is the first and only international university in Vietnam to provide and award Bachelor's degrees directly from Britain.-VNA
