Outgoing Bulgarian Ambassador Georgi Vassilev has been awarded Vietnam ’s Friendship Order for his active contributions to strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
On behalf of the Vietnamese Government, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Quoc Cuong handed over the award to the Bulgarian diplomat at a ceremony in Hanoi on Nov. 26.
Ambassador Vassilev expressed his thanks for the distinction and described it as a vivid symbol of friendship between Bulgaria and Vietnam .
He also affirmed his intention to continue contributing to boosting friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries in the future./.
