Vinh Khanh Cable Plastic Corp on Dec.8 debuted its 13 million shares on the Hanoi Stock Exchange under the code of VKC, becoming the 359 th firm listed on the northern bourse.

VKC closed its first trading day at 566,700 shares sold at 13,200 VND (0.63 USD) per share.

The Binh Duong – headquartered company with a charter capital of 130 billion VND (6.2 million USD) specialises in manufacturing and trading telecommunications cables, fiber optic cables, LAN (local area network) and power cables and uPVC and HDPE pipes.

In the first nine month of this year, VKS posted a revenue of 300 billion VND (14.3 million USD) and a net profit of more than 13 million VND (623,800 USD) completing 71 percent of its revenue target and 65.3 percent of the after-tax profit target for the whole year.

The company has signed a 350,000 USD contract to export LAN cable products to Japan this year and expects to increase its total export value to 1.7 million USD next year./.
