Calligraphy works on President Ho’s poems on display

An exhibition of calligraphy renditions of President Ho Chi Minh’s “Diary in Prison” poem collection was opened in Seoul, the Republic of Korea, on January 4.
An exhibition of calligraphy renditions of President Ho Chi Minh’s “Diary in Prison” poem collection was opened in Seoul, the Republic of Korea, on January 4.

The exhibition, the second of its kind, is jointly organised by the Embassy of Vietnam in Seoul, the RoK –Vietnam Friendship Association and the Daewoo Construction Co.

A documentary produced by MBC Television on the late President’s life and his ideology was screened before the opening ceremony.

Addressing the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to the RoK Pham Tien Van expressed his belief that bilateral relations between Vietnam and the RoK will grow strongly in 2010, adding that cultural exchange activities like the calligraphy exhibition will help strengthen the friendship and mutual trust between the two peoples./.
