Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hun Sen will lead a high-level delegation to visit Laos on February 6-7 at the invitation of his Lao counterpart Thongsing Thammavong, Cambodian news agency AKP reported.
During the official visit, the two Prime Ministers will hold official talks and preside over the signing ceremony of seven cooperation documents, AKP quoted a press release by the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation as saying.
The documents include Memoranda of Understanding on health development cooperation, legal and judicial cooperation, cooperation in the field of culture and art for the period of 2014-2017, and the establishment of General Consulates between Cambodia and Laos .
They will also sign an agreement on education for the period of 2014-2018, a cooperation plan for the year 2014 between the Ministry of Interior of Cambodia and the Ministry of Public Security of Laos, and an agreement on sister city relationship between Phnom Penh and Vientiane capital cities.
The Cambodian delegation will include Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hor Namhong, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers Sok An.-VNA
