Phnom Penh (VNA) – The Cambodian Ministry of Health on June 7 confirmed 589 new COVID-19 infections in the past 24 hours, including 562 domestically-transmitted cases.

The remaining are Cambodian workers returning from Thailand.

On the day, the country also recorded additional three fatalities related to the pandemic.

To date, it has documented 34,833 infections, including 28,092 recoveries and 266 deaths.

Youk Sambath Secretary of State of the ministry said that on June 8, the country will receive additional 500,000 Sinovac vaccine doses of China./.
