Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen recently said that his country needs about 11 billion USD for public investment to implement the government's priorities in the 2013-2018 period.
The Cambodian will prioritise four sectors, including human resources, agriculture with a particular focus on irrigation system, telecommunications and transportation infrastructure, and electricity, he noted.
According to the PM, the 2013-2018 National Strategic Development Plan, with lessons and experience accumulated from the previous period, will bring about more fruitful outcomes to the country’s socio-economic development.
The plan will also back the vigilant implementation of the public finance and monetary policy to ensure stable and favourable macro-economic conditions for promoting development in all sectors, he added.-VNA
