Cambodia will host the 8th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting for Social Welfare and Development (AMMSWD), the 4th ASEAN+3 Ministerial Meeting on Social Welfare and Development and other related meetings from September 3-7, according to Cambodia’s news agency AKP.
Prime Minister Hun Sen will preside over the opening ceremony of this regional event in Siem Reap province.
The meetings, which are held every three years, aim to boost the cooperation in the field of social affairs among the ASEAN member countries and China , the Republic of Korea and Japan.
