Cambodian army general visits Vietnam
Lieut. Gen. Do Ba Ty, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s
Army (VPA) received Gen. Sao Sokha, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the
Cambodian Royal Army, in Hanoi on July 5.

Lieut. Gen. Ty, who is also Deputy Defence Minister, welcomed Gen. Sao Sokha and his entourage and expressed his hope that their working visit would reap good results.
Gen. Sao Sokha, who was on a four-day working visit to Vietnam from July 4, briefed the host about the results of talks with Lieut. Gen. Nguyen Trung Thu, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of VPA, which focused on regional issues and exchange of experience in search and rescue activities.
While in Vietnam , the Cambodian officers visited the Mieu Mon shooting range and a number of VPA units./.
