Cambodian guests welcomed for Tet

Southern Kien Giang province is doing its best to facilitate travel of people from its neighbouring Cambodian localities into the locality during the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday as part of efforts to strengthen solidarity and friendship between the two nations.
Southern Kien Giang province is doing its best to facilitate travel of people from its neighbouring Cambodian localities into the locality during the Lunar New Year (Tet) holiday as part of efforts to strengthen solidarity and friendship between the two nations.

Public security are ensured and favourable legal procedures are offered to people from Kampot, Kep, Preah Shihanouk, Koh Kong and Phnom Penh so they can enter Kien Giang province’s border districts and towns to enjoy Vietnam’s biggest traditional festival.

Vehicles are also allowed to cross the border through Ha Tien and Giang Thanh international border gates.

The People’s Committee of Ha Tien town has decorated streets with colourful flowers and intensified public security to welcome Cambodian guests.-VNA
