According to the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce, the country’s exports hit 2.59 billion USD in the reviewed period, 27 percent more than last year’s figure.
In particular, garments, a Cambodian key export, contributed 80 percent of the total export value, up 22 percent against last year’s figure, followed by other major exports such as agricultural and wooden products.
Meanwhile, its imports were 3.66 billion USD, up 16 percent year-on-year.
Cambodia’s major trade partners include Thailand, the US, European countries, China, Singapore, Japan, the Republic of Korea, and Vietnam.-VNA
