SOS Children’s Villages Vietnam has launched a campaign called ‘Lo Dung Tinh Thuon’g (Love-Filled Jar) to raise funds for more than 3,000 children at its 17 villages throughout the country.

HCM City (VNA) - SOS Children’s Villages Vietnam has launched a campaign called ‘LoDung Tinh Thuong' (Love-Filled Jar) to raise funds formore than 3,000 children at its 17 villages throughout the country.

The campaign aims to call for long-termsponsorship for 238 families who have been bringing up over 3,000 underprivilegedchildren at 17 SOS villages in 17 provinces and cities nationwide.

Deputy Minister ofLabour, Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Thi Ha said at the launchingceremony in Ho Chi Minh City that the campaign was expected to attract many sponsors.

“Even 10,000 VND donations couldbe small amount of money for many people, but it would help changethe life and future of these children,” Ha added.

This year marked thefourth edition of the campaign. Donations should be made viathe website sosvietnam.org/lo-dung-tinh-thuong or hotline0989.73 77 33 or (028) 38 227 227 until December 31./.
