Defence Minister General Phung Quang Thanh, who is also a Politburo member and Deputy Secretary of the Commission, visited some military units in the province.
On the same day, Tin Tuc (News), a newspaper of the Vietnam News Agency, in collaboration with the Nam Duong Investment Joint Stock Company presented 600 gifts worth 300 million VND (1,400 USD) to ethnic minority children in six kindergartens and the SOS Children’s Village in Dien Bien Phu city.-VNA
